• Cross-Browser Compatibility: Understanding of how to ensure websites function correctly across different browsers and devices.
• API Integration: Ability to integrate third-party APIs and services, such as payment gateways, social media, and geolocation services, into web applications.
• Content Management Systems (CMS): Experience with popular CMS platforms like WordPress. Familiar with others types such as Joomla, or Drupal for building and managing websites.
• SEO Basics: Understanding of basic search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to improve website visibility and ranking in search engines.
• User Experience (UX) Design: Knowledge of UX principles to create user-friendly and intuitive web interfaces that enhance user satisfaction.
• User Interface (UI) Design: Familiar with UI design to create visually appealing and functional web interfaces. Know of but have not used tools like Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch. Can learn quickly.
• Web Hosting and Deployment: Experience with web hosting platforms and deployment processes.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues, debug code, and find solutions to development challenges.
• Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work effectively with clients, designers, and other developers, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
